Chicken amore



Religious texts suggest that chickens originated with the creation of the world. In addition, in the Christian Bible, in the book of Matthew, 23:37, Jesus likens his care for the people of Jerusalem to a hen caring for her brood, which suggests that chickens originated before the birth of Christ.
Chickens have played an important role in the civilized world, not only as a source of food, but Romans took chickens into battle with them, and watched their behavior as a sign or ill or good fortune.

The origin of chickens claim to have spread westward from the Indus Valley. In the middle East an ancient civilization carried a lively trade by the city states more than 4,000 years ago. Chicken bone were recovered from Lothal which was known as the great port on the west coast of India that could leave a possibility of the birds being carried across to the Arabian Peninsula as provisions or cargo.


Ingredients 


300g screw noodles 
1ml thyme 
1kg chicken 



Ingredients for sauce 


250ml mayonnaise 
5ml curry powder 
2 tins cream of chicken soup 
1 clove garlic crushed 
15ml lemon juice 
50ml blanched broccoli 
15ml lemon rind 
200ml grated cheese 
1\2 red pepper cut into strips 



Method 


Cook noodles in salted water, drain. 
Cook chicken and remove from the bones.
Mix all the ingredients for the sauce.
Layer the noodles, chicken and sauce. 
Sprinkle over grated cheese. 


Can be prepared in advance and baked later. 

Bake at 150 degrees Celcius until heated through.

Lemon Cream Tart

Ingredients for crust 1\2 packet marie biscuits  75g butter\margarine  crush biscuits.  melts butter\margarine and mix with biscuits. researve some of the crumbs to sprinkle on top of the tart if you like. press crumbs against the sides and base of a 1 litre pie dish. Ingredients for filling   250ml cream  1 tin condensed milk  125ml lemon juice  Method beat the cream until soft peaks form. fold in the condensed milk and then the lemon juice.  spoon the mixture into the pie crust.  chill the tart for at least 2 hours  makes a medium tart.

Cereal grain is a staple food that provides more food energy worldwide than any other type of crop. Some foods not from animal or plant sources include various edible fungi , especially mushrooms . Fungi and ambient bacteria are used in the preparation of fermented and pickled foods like leavened bread , alcoholic drinks , cheese , pickles , kombucha , and yogurt . Another example is blue-green algae such as Spirulina . [6] Inorganic substances such as salt , baking soda and cream of tartar are used to preserve or chemically alter an ingredient.
