Noodle salad

Ingredients 500 grams - noodles. 250 mils - tomato sauce. 200 mils - sugar. 125 mils - vinegar. 125 mils - oil. 25 grams - curry powder. salt and pepper. 1 onion. 2 green and red pepper chopped. Mix altogether and then put it into the fridge for a few hours before serving.

Pancakes

Ingredients   Mix   2 cups - flour.  3\4 cup - sugar.  3 teaspoons - baking powder.  1 teaspoon - salt.  Add   3 beaten eggs.  1 cup - milk.  mix well, then add.  2 tablespoons margarine. (melted but not hot) beat well.  grease pan.  spoon batter onto pan.  Fry until holes appear in upper side.  turn and cook other side. 

Sponge Cake

Ingredients 4 ounces - Margarine. (soft margarine) 4 ounces - sugar. 6 ounces - flour.  2 level teaspoons - baking powder.  half a cup - milk.  2 eggs.  1 teaspoon - vanilla essence.  Method Put stork margarine in a bowl and beat it with sugar. Add dry ingredients, milk and vanilla essence. Pour mixture into pan   Bake at 170 degrees Celius for 25 - 30 minutes.  

Tuna Tart

Mix the following ingredients 1 large tomato chopped. 1 onion chopped. 1 cup - grated cheese. 125 grams - melted margarine. 2 eggs. 1 cup - flour. 2 teaspoons - baking powder. 1 tin of tuna\bacon. Add seasoning. Put mixture into tin and bake at 160 degrees Celcius for 30 minutes.

Flan

Ingredients  4 ounces - flour. 4 ounces - castor sugar. 2 eggs. 2 tablespoons - cold water. 1 level teaspoon - Baking powder. 1 teaspoon - vanilla essence. Method Beat up sugar and eggs until it's thick and creamy. Fold into sifted flour, salt and baking powder. Add vanilla essence and cold water. Fold into mixture and put into greased flan tin. Leave to cool before turning out. Bake for +/- 20 minutes at 170 degrees Celius. Any fruits of choice with or without cream for your topping.

Pebble Tart

Ingredients 4 ounces - Margarine 2 tablespoons - sugar 1 egg 2 cups - flour 2 teaspoons - baking powder 2 tablespoons - oil Pinch of salt and 1 teaspoon of vanilla essence Method Mix it all together and make into a dough. Press out onto swiss roll pan. Heat up apricot jam and spread on top. Grate some dough on top of the jam. Bake at 180 degrees Celius for half an hour. Leave to cool down before placing into the fridge Before serving cut into squares.

Fridge Cake

Ingredients 1 Packet of plain marie biscuits. 4 ounces - 115 grams margarine. 3 ounces - 85 grams sugar. 1 egg. 1 and a half tablespoons coco. 1 teaspoon vanilla essence. Method Crush up biscuits into small bits. Heat up all the other ingredients in a pot, except the eggs. Take pot off the stove and add eggs then stir immediately so that the eggs don't scramble. Pour the chocolate source over the marie biscuits and mix it all together. Press into a flat pan. Put it into the fridge and leave to set for at least 2 hours, cut into squares before serving. Great for kids parties.
